Landmark Edition looks absolutely beautiful!!! It is breathtakingly beautiful. The caves man. Oh the caves! This is how the game was meant to look. I would recommend visiting the island again just to enjoy the beauty.
As for other differences. Hmm some things seemed clearer this time around. But can't tell for sure what, if anything, might have been changed. Even if nothing was changed and provided you didn't already unlock all of the dialogues previously, this would be a good time to revisit. Even if nothing was changed and provided you didn't already unlock all of the dialogues previously, this would be a good time to revisit.Oh, I was already excited to do so, but before going through the game again, I was just curious and I truly give you my thanks. Vegetation looks better, thicker, and more varied. It has a nice light/shadow effect as if it was affected by the clouds' movement. It also moves with the wind, so when you hear the wind pick up you see the grass move more. You see more leaves and particles moving in the air.
Slightly nicer lighting, feels like a 5% increase to contrast. Certain objects were changed slightly or emphasized more. Commentary, achievements. All in all, this is a faithful port with some tweaks and upgraded grass.
Just a good excuse to replay the game. Originally posted by:Speaking as somone who did, in fact, read the description and I honestly played the other version, I was curious and I asked the question.
