Introduction

Welcome to The Forgotten Sanctum downloadable content (DLC) walkthrough for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. This DLC sees you traversing a new, expansive dungeon in the wake of a cataclysm that's shattered the islands of the Deadfire, and features one of the greatest combat challenges to date. Your journey entails tracking down the missing archmage Maura (believed to be responsible) who intends on reviving a sleeping god, which you can assist or stop.

Time passed and when I eventually got around getting a 3DS XL (basically to play Code of Princess), I was finally able to also download Soul of Darkness. Getting Started

  • Level 18 is the official minimum requirement for this DLC.
  • To access The Forgotten Sanctum content, load a post-Magran's Teeth or Mapping the Archipelago sidequest game save from the main game (make sure you completed He Waits in Fire), then return to your ship. Sail the sea until the two sea encounters trigger, opening the pathway for the first task of The Forgotten Sanctum DLC.
  • Aloth and Fassina are the recommended companions for this expansion.
