Capcom clearly wanted Akuma to stand out compared to Tekken characters and made him arguably the purely strongest character. His ability to take powerful attacks with minimal damage is what contributes to his own powerful offense.While he’s not very fast, he certainly can dodge attacks very well. Once you get Akuma on a roll, the opponent just can’t recover to counter those heavy damages Akuma delivers.
